Review: MAC 217 Brush

The MAC 217 brush is one of the many brushes that you can buy at MAC and is one great selling brush because of the fact that it is very versitile and good for beginners. It is in the 200 series, therefore making it an eyeshadow brush. The bristles are made from white goat hair and are extremely soft. It is flat on one side and more tapered on the other so you are able to use this brush for the lid, crease or highlight. You can use the flat side for the lid or as a wash of colour on the highlight. You are also able to use this brush as a crease brush. I like to get colour on the brush, then place the top of the bristles in the outer part of my crease. I use back and forth motions to get the colour there and then turn it to it's fatter side and use windshield wiper motions to blend the colour out. Viola! A beautiful, blended crease. So, I really do recommed the MAC 217 brush for its versitility and how easy it is to use.
